Kennedy faces new challenger

As a fellow Derbyshire man I want to congratulate 12 year old Amber Valley Lib Dem President Oliver Smith on his recent appointment. Could he be the next leader of the Surreal Alternative?

    Remember that photo of Smith The Younger. A decade hence it will be emblazoned across the front pages of the nation's chip wrappers as he takes possession of the keys to Number 10.

    Any comparisons with Young Willy Haig's thundering "Roll back the frontiers of the state!" conference speech will be purely incidental, of course.
