Blunkett bashing
Apparently the former Met Police Chief Lord Stevens has done a bit of Blunkett bashing - commenting that people found him "duplicitous and intimidating" in his memoirs.
Surely not - this isn't the same Blunkett who once he resigned was pictures going back to his modest home in Sheffield, failing to mention his lovely accomodation on the Chatsworth estate in rural Derbyshire.

Or the £3 million official residence of the Home Secretary in South Eaton Terrace on Balgravia, which he was allowed to stay in at tax payers expense, throughout his short stay as a mere backbench MP ?
He still occupies this Government property, after his shameful re-appointmment to the Cabinet, which has led to further public expense to add security protection to Home Secretary Charles Clarke's London home.
